Our Story
Candace began painting as a young girl, and has continued painting throughout
her life. She began selling her artwork and naming her business "Candace's
Canvasses. When she was 14 years old, she got one of her first jobs at Glazed
Over, and it has come full circle. When meeting PJ in her 20s, he helped grow
and expand the business Candace's Canvasses. It has been nothing but joy to
get the opportunity to reach the community with light, love, and hand-painted
artwork. God opened the doors to purchase Glazed Over in January 2026,
and we have hit the ground running. We currently own and run both businesses,
with Glazed Over now being our home base.

Pick your pottery.
We have hundreds of pieces to choose from. -
Choose an open table.
-
Choose your colors at the glaze bar.
Our glaze is non-toxic and washes out of clothing easily. -
Gather your supplies.
brushes, sponges, dotting tools. -
Paint
We recommend painting 3 coats of each color to ensure the best outcome. -
Take your finished piece to the front desk to check out.
We accept credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash. -
Leave your pottery to the kiln masters.
-
A kiln master will cautiously dip your pottery in a clear glaze to ensure a shiny outcome.
-
The pottery is then loaded carefully into one of our kilns and is fired to 1800+ degrees fahrenheit over the course of 24 hours.
-
After unloading the kiln, we package your pottery with tissue paper and text you once it is all ready to be picked up.
-
-
Come back on your pick up day or after receiving a text from us.
